Job Description:-

Founded in 1984, Exeter Group is a privately-held IT consulting firm, with headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts and branch offices in New York City and Los Angeles. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding results to our clients, and recognize that the high level of service we provide is a reflection of the quality and work ethic of the people at Exeter.  We are currently seeking an Account Executive to manage account relationships and increase our consulting services revenues by executing complex, multi-million dollar projects deals.

The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and growing large-scale client relationships for our technology consulting services.  This includes managing the entire sales lifecycle including targeting new accounts and establishing relationships, executing deals, transitioning projects to the engagement management team, ensuring revenue growth within existing clients, and managing overall client expectations and relationships.


Responsible for selling Exeter Group’s technology consulting services to new and existing clients within Higher Education, State and City governments and private sector clients.

Work with Business Development Manager and internal sales team to identify, qualify and develop new and existing sales opportunities.
Establish, develop and maintain client relationships and partner alliances
Assisting with proposal development and cost estimation.
Deliver sales presentations to clients and internal customers.
Working with senior management in creating and executing overall business development strategies for the firm.

Job requirements:-


Requirements include 5-7 years of prior sales and marketing experience in either information technology consulting services or software sales.  Higher Education industry knowledge a plus.
The qualified candidate must possess a strategic understanding of information technology and the business acumen essential in identifying critical issues faced by potential client organizations.
Must demonstrate a proven track record of success, routinely meeting or exceeding a multi-million dollar sales goal, and an ability to sell at the executive level.
Excellent relationship development, lead qualification, and presentation skills a must.
Enthusiasm for travel.
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
