In this position, the individual will work in the assigned region to support the regional sales and channel development, which include identifying strengths & weaknesses of SanDisk channel in the focused cities with improvement actions, managing relationship with key retailers, support the RSM in the management of city distributors (or key resellers) and support the execution of local marketing/channel programs. Profound channel management knowledge and ability to quickly translate opportunities into actions are critical to the success of the position. Co-own the regional sales quota with the RSM. Own the sales quota of assigned retailers (if applicable) and focused cities. Own the execution of the geo/channel expansion plan. Own the channel account plan for key channel accounts. Own the relationship, development and the management of retailers in the assigned cities. Work in collaboration with APAC product marketing and training manager to conduct channel training. Support the RSM in the management of city distributors. Work closely with the regional marketing manager / final-tier development manager and outsourced agencies to execute local channel/consumer programs. Play a key role in working with marketing and the outsourced agencies to drive & execute merchandising, promoter and retail development programs. Work with the necessary support functions to develop the in-region retailers to increase sell-thru and to drive a favorable sales mix. Metrics include Regional sales quota, Assigned retailer sales quota (if applicable), Focused cities sales quota, City distributor sales quota, Product sales mix / category sales targets and Channel development metrics e.g. # of ARPs and TAM share. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager. External linkages include Final-tier retailers, Key retail chains (where applicable), Sub-distributors, Distributors (secondary) and Selected outsourced agenc(ies). Internal linkages include Regional Sales Manager, Regional marketing manager (for India), Country Marketing Managr and Country Manager. This position requires Bachelors degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years work experience in channel sales and development. Proven records in channel development. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence both internal & external colleagues. Must be able to work independently with excellent self-discipline; always work with uncompromising integrity and a strong sense of urgency to achieve a high quality standard. Strong service attitude and ability to balance the interests among end customers, channel partners and the company. Open-minded and willingness to accept criticism and challenges. Experience in the IT, mobile or consumer electronics industry highly desirable. Experience of working extensively with an outsourced merchandising company and knowledge of a local dialect are preferred.Based in Hyderabad and knowledge of local IT,Mobile ,photo channels
