Allahabad High Court invited Applications for the posts of Translator (for translating the documents from Hindi to English).
Total No of Vacancies:- 11
(i) Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or the qualification recognized as equivalent thereto preferably with English and Hindi, both at Intermediate and Graduate Levels.
(ii) Preference will be given to a candidate who holds a degree in Law from a University established/recognized by Law in India.
(iii) Computer knowledge, i.e., Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operation.
A candidate for direct recruitment of Translator must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of more than 35 years on the 1st day of July of 2013.
The maximum age limit shall, in the case of candidate of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Dependents of Freedom Fighters and Backward classes, be greater by five years.
FEES: Rs. 500/for General Category & O.B.C. and Rs. 250/for S.C./ S.T. candidates.

Application on plain and thick foolscap paper duly typed in format given alongwith attested copies of High School Certificate in support of age and other Certificates and Testimonials in respect of Educational Qualification, Caste certificate, if applicable, (not more than six months old), Computer Knowledge alongwith a self addressed envelope bearing postage stamps worth Rs. 22/andExamination Fees in the shape of BankDraft/Banker’s Cheque issued by Nationalized Bank payable in favour of “RegistrarGeneral, High Court, Allahabad”, should be sent to The Registrar General, High Court, Allahabad by Speed Post or Registered post with A.D. Only.
The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad came to have jurisdiction throughout the entire length and breadth of the State of Uttar Pradesh.
At present, sanctioned strength of Judges of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is 160.
