Skilled ‘B’ worker on Daily Wage basis for a period of 06 (six) months

Age : For Male 18 – 33 years.

For Female 18-38 years

Note: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date of receipt of application from candidates/name from the Employment Exchange, A&N Islands.

Qualification :


Pass in secondary school examination (10th Std) or its equivalent from a recognized board / institution;

Should possess trade certificate in Motor Mechanism or Auto Electrician of two yrs duration from a recognized ITI

Should qualify the trade test conducted by duly constituted selection committee.


Two years professional experience in an automobile workshop.

The candidates eligible for the posts are required to apply in the prescribed proforma together with attested copies of educational qualification, tradeCertificate, age proof, live employment registration card, Local/Category certificate, experience certificate if any and other testimonials etc with 2 (two)copies of passport size photographs addressed to the Director of Transport,Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Port Blair and should reach this Office latest by 30.11.2012.
