Asset Management Senior Analyst - Service Management
Working independently with minimal guidance, this individual manages the development, implementation, and management of policy, procedures, performance standards and systems/tools for the IT Services asset management program. Oversees and participates in the completion of multiple complex asset management support activities.  Monitors/guides personnel in the use of appropriate procedures, techniques and tools to meet organizational goals and objectives. Ensures the integrity of asset management systems throughout the asset lifecycle (procurement/receipt through recovery/disposal).  Influences team and peers internally.  Responsible for the work of others and allocation of resources.
Client responsibilities:-

?Manages the continual upgrading of processes, procedures, tools, and equipment in order to maintain currency with technological progress, economic change, and business needs.
?Manages asset management support activities in accordance with firm policy, including, but not limited to:
o    Developing of procurement, receipt, inventory, repairs, software harvesting, license compliance, asset refresh, and recovery/disposal procedures
o    Developing/fostering relationships with stakeholders (e.g., Finance, HR, Procurement, external vendors)
o    Interpreting processes and identifying solutions to local asset management problems
?Manages the implementation of controls to measure performance, including key performance/service indicators (KPIs), benchmarks, business analytics, reporting requirements, and settlements/reconciliations;
?Analyzes asset management performance measurements to provide insight, assessment and guidance to area/sub area management for correcting deviations to standards and on changes required to maintain the quality of the asset management program.
?Manages inventory management and control procedures
?Develops process change recommendations and/or performance standards
?Develops, coordinates, implements, and communicates global asset management policy and procedures, and promotes area awareness and adherence to the program
?Identifies training opportunities.  Ensures adequate training programs for the asset management program are designed, documented, disseminated and delivered to appropriate personnel
?Possess familiarity with fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of software compliance, fundamental software titles and licensing practices
?Coordinate with departments to correct deviations to standards and for changes required to maintain the quality of the asset management program
?Participate and/or manages the project management process for area/sub area asset management initiatives
?Participates in certain IT and non IT projects that affect asset or service management
?Assists with software license compliance activities.
?Assists with annual software compliance survey

People responsibilities:-
?Influencing peers/superiors regarding the identification of compliance gaps (lack of compliance with the execution of asset management processes and procedures; the incumbent attempts to resolve these types of issues independently with people responsible for execution before escalating to line manager)
?Knowledge gaps (lack of knowledge or understanding regarding asset management processes/procedures by the people responsible for executing asset management procedures; depending on the scope of the knowledge gap, the incumbent may provide training to an individual, or, if the gap is widespread, recommend to their team lead that more formal widespread training is necessary)
?Managing/planning/prioritizing workload for staff and self
?Managing in a virtual environment
Skills Requirements:-
?3-5  years in a similar role
?Business skills:- Selects appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools/applications, and use. Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to problem solving. Communicates fluently (orally and written) and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Is able to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets. Is able to absorb rapidly new technical information and apply it effectively. Good appreciation of wider field of information systems, its use in relevant areas of business and how it relates to the activities of the customer. Maintains awareness of developing technologies and their application and takes some responsibility for personal development.  Has the ability to think strategically. Independently identifies and overcomes obstacles in order to accomplish deliverables.

o    Strong core Office suite skills, particularly Excel & Access
o    A demonstrable methodical and detailed approach
