Job Description:-

Perform all duties of the Front Desk Manager/Guest Relations Manager. · Have a full understanding of the night duties. Ensure that all Front Desk Managers, Guest Relations Managers, senior receptionists and receptionists are fully trained in the Front Office department. Actively support the C.N.H.T. sponsor within the department and the program. · Ensure accurate scheduling to meet the demand of the hotel with minimum overtime. Set schedule for Front Desk managers and Guest · Responsible for wage progress and training all managers on wage progress. · Ensure all associate reviews are completed on time and that regular rap sessions are scheduled. Complete 45-day review with all new hires. · Have a complete understanding of the Marriott Reward program including Club Elite. · Have a complete understanding of the on property repeat guest program. · Be continuously dedicated to: · First Ten · Ensure the continued commitment to first ten by executing effective pre-arrival service that provides an efficient, warm and friendly arrival process. · 15 minute training · Facilitate sessions, ensuring daily training sessions take place with the Front Desk and Concierge. Contribute to and implement new training ideas. · Guest Response · Attend Guest Response meetings wherever possible. Ensure customer complaints are followed through using the LEARN process. Have a working knowledge of Guestware, problem-tracking system. · Express Checkout · LSOPs · Fully understand the LSOPs and ensure standards are implemented correctly within the Front Office. · Have a thorough knowledge of the Front Desk PMS system, Harris 2020, TMS, Vingcard and Guestlink. · Have a good knowledge of the fire panel and fire procedures. · Ensure all front Desk floats are counted daily and spot check once a quarter. · Know all of Front Office job descriptions. · Cover MOD and Front Desk shifts as necessary. · Ensure hotel credit policies and procedures are adhered to. · Ensure productive and informative departmental meetings take place on a monthly basis. Ensure meeting with housekeeping take place quarterly. Ensure Concierge is involved with Front Desk meetings. · Ensure banking is undertaken in accordance with established procedures. · To deputize in the absence of the Front Office Manager. · Perform any reasonable request by management. · Be involved and have an awareness of the formulation of the room’s budget. Ability to read and understand financial statements, payroll and budget. · Responsible for Profit and Loss critique and has a full understanding of the Profit and Loss statement. · Play an active role in interviewing. · Project a positive attitude, motivate and provide a healthy working environment for the Front Office department. · Strive to increase Guest Satisfaction, Associate satisfaction, market share and financial results. · Train, develop and be a mentor for the Management Development program.

Responsibilities:- To assist the Front Office Manager in the efficient running of the Front Office department by understanding the day to day running of the Front Desk, Guest Service Centre, Concierge Desk, Guest Relations and Business Centre. To assume responsibility for the Front Office in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
