    Role Description:-

    To lead a team of Supervisors
    To create test plan and/or DVP
    To perform bench marking exercise and Design of test fixtures
    To perform witness testing at outside agencies / Supplier
    To plan and ensure calibration and completion of tests as per test plans
    To generate reports and give feedback to the respective project / Design group
    To record and maintain test data
    To execute planned infrastructure capabilities
    To interact with design departments and plan necessary development and validation tests
    To incorporate testing process improvements based on national / international standards and practices, follow Quality systems such as ISO/TS, QS, OHSAS, 5S, etc.
    To participate and ensure closure of the respective DFMEA & DVP activities-
    "a) Automotive engineering knowledge, functioning of vehicle and ANY of the sub systems/aggregates --> Suspension, Transmission, Cab & trims, Electrical & electronics, Lighting systems.
    b) testing methodology, type of tests such performance test, durability, reliability, multi environmental tests, accelerated life test, co-relation/use of road load data to meaningful validation on component & system level and/or Vehicle Level Testing.
    c) Knowledge of domestic certification and export homologation requirements"


    Should possess business, product and process knowledge
    Should possess knowledge of RLD based validation
    Should be able to understand importance of customer satisfaction and work towards it
    Should understand and foucs on Quality, Cost and Delivery
    Should adhere to processes and ensure compliance of the same
    Should be able to ensure resource utilization
    Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Should be able to work in a team. Effective co-ordination
    Good knowledge of fundamentals of engineering, design and drafting Demonstrate good knowledge of fundamentals of engineering, design and drafting
    Good grasping skills with a sound academic record. The candidate should possess first class(above 60%) through-out his academic record with-out a year or a six months gap due to failure.
