Recruitment Specifications:-     Graduate in Science/ Commerce/ Arts with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST). Minimum three years
experience in Purchase Deptt. of a Government/Public Sector Undertaking/ Commercial Organizations. Must
be conversant with the Purchase procedure, preferably in a Public Sector Undertaking Government organisation.

Age Limit:- 30 Years as on 01.09.2011 (relaxable by 15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC & 10 years for UR Physically Handicapped candidates).
Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen is also applicable as per Govt. of India Directives


As regards reservation for Disabled Persons/ Physically Handicapped and Ex-Serviceman /
Dependent of those killed / Disabled in action, the vacancies are to be filled by way of horizontal
Interlocking Reservation System.
In addition to Basic Pay and Industrial DA, the posts carry the benefits of Employees Provident
Fund, Gratuity, EPS under Employees' Pension Scheme-1995, Leave Encashment,
Housing/HRA facilities, Production Incentive, Canteen Allowance, Coverage under the Group
Personal Accident Insurance Scheme, Group Savings Linked Insurance Scheme, LTE, LTC,
Medical Facilities and other Perk/Allowances etc. as per Rules of the Company.


SELECTION METHOD:-

In case the number of applications received is very large, Management may at its discretion
conduct a common written test to short-list the eligible candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for
appearing in the written test. The Candidates short-listed on the basis of performance in the
written test to be held at Panipat will be called for interview (at Panipat) for which reimbursement
of to and fro single 2nd Class Rail/Bus fare will be allowed on production of necessary proof. If
sufficient number of persons with disability are not available on the basis of general
standard to fill the vacancies reserved for them, candidates belonging to this category
may be selected on relaxed standard to fill up the vacancies reserved for them provided
they are not found unfit for such posts. The selected candidates before joining will be
required to get Medical Fitness Certificate from Civil Surgeon/CMO of Civil /NFL’s Hospital and
also subject to verification of character & Antecedents from the concerned District Authorities.
The selected candidates on joining can be posted in any Office/Unit/Division of NFL in India with
initial posting at Panipat.


GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:-

DEGREE OF DISABILITY FOR RESERVATION:-

Only such persons would be eligible for reservation to the posts who suffer from not less than
40% of relevant disability. A person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation for disabled
person would have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the
prescribed Format.
Low vision means a person with impairment of visual functioning even after treatment or
standard refractive correction but who uses or is potentially capable of using vision for the
planning or execution of a task with appropriate assistive device.
For claiming the benefit of SC/OBC/PH categories, the candidate should submit a copy of the
original Caste Certificate attested by the Gazetted Officer, in the Proforma prescribed by Govt.
of India. Further for claiming the benefit of OBC, the Caste Certificate in the Prescribed
Proforma to be submitted should specifically mention that the candidate does not belong to the
persons/sections (creamy layer) as mentioned in Column 3 of the Schedule to the Govt. of India,
Department of Personal & Training O.M. No.63012/22/93-Estt(SCT) dated 09.08.1993.


INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION

paper (A-4 size) in Hindi or English language duly signed with date alongwith attested copies of
the certificates & testimonials and a recent passport-size photograph (to be affixed on

Experience/training, if any (xi) Whether belongs to SC/ST/OBC (If yes, give detail), (xii)
Whether PH (If yes, give detail) (xiii) Whether Ex-Serviceman/Dependents of those
killed/severely disabled in action (If yes, give detail) to Chief Manager(P&A), National
Fertilizers Limited, Gohana Road Panipat- 132106 (Haryana) by post on or before
31.08.2011. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. The envelope
containing application should be superscribed with "POST APPLIED FOR
“____________________”. The incomplete applications will summarily be rejected.

Candidates working in Govt. Deptts. /Public Sector Undertakings are required to apply
through proper channel.
The Management reserves the right to call for written test/interview only those candidates, who
in its opinion are likely to be suitable and will not entertain any correspondence from candidates
in respect of their application. In case, no intimation is received by the candidate within a period
of 90 days from the last date of receipt of his application, it should be presumed that his
application was not considered.

Canvassing in any form is liable to render the candidate ineligible for any of the above
posts.
While applying, the applicant must ensure that the particulars furnished by him/her are correct in
all respect. In case, it is detected at any stage of recruitment process or even after appointment
that he or she has furnished incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact, his
/ her candidature will stand cancelled and appointment will liable to be terminated forthwith.
