The Lead Business Technical Analyst will be responsible for the project life cycle associated with business process solutions. S/he must be able to identify opportunities to efficiently and effectively improve business processes and/or applications, performing in-depth review of existing processes to provide recommendations. Throughout the project life cycle, considers the business implications of applying developed technology to the current business environment as well as ensuring process solutions comply with GRS/corporate standards. S/he functions as a primary liaison, globally, between the business and development team, interacting and partnering effectively. S/he will also complete development as required for business process solutions and Informatica mappings, providing recommendations to other Technical Analysts to ensure efficient/effective development. S/he will collaborate effectively with various business partners within IT, Product, Consulting and Client Service Delivery to provide service excellence to GRS clients and internal lines of business. S/he will display subject matter expertise in relationship to technical business process improvements and technical systems in use within GRS to provide effective technical support. S/he will have advanced knowledge and skills in relation to databases and data flows, and is able to apply knowledge to GRS specific systems. S/he effectively utilizes escalation channels/protocol and ensures stakeholders, business partners and management are well informed of potential impact to the business or clients. Works independently, as well as with others, to identify mitigation strategies for business issues by introducing ongoing process improvements or controls. S/he will have the proven ability to multi-task, drive execution, and demonstrate a shared sense of urgency. The Lead BusinessTechnical Analyst will interact with various internal clients/entities with the responsibility for maintaining sustainable and successful relationships. S/he will provide recommendations in relation to various solutions understanding the internal/external client need and expectations. S/he will project manage tasks in regards to technical projects, ensuring completion of associated action items. S/he will display strong abilities in communication, critical thought and follow through, as well as displaying knowledge and demonstrated subject matter expertise of technical programs/systems. S/He will support the business during technical upgrades acting as point of contact for teams and ensuring preparation for implementation of new/changed technical systems. Expectations will also include communication of technical expertise to support non-BAU GRS technical projects. The Lead Business Technical Analyst will complete activities related to complex technical development opportunities, leading system testing to ensure successful hand-off to the business for user acceptance testing and follow through for effective implementation. S/he will participate in collaborative sessions to understand business requirements, coordination of testing activities and implementation tasks. S/he will ensure that inventory of developed tools are stored following corporate guidelines and monitor use/necessity of existing tools, providing recommendations for improvements. S/he will coordinate with necessary teams to perform necessary maintenance/troubleshooting for implemented solutions and will coordinate with business lines for fixes, enhancements or new products/services. Bachelor s Degree required. Bachelor s Degree (Computer Science, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or associated field) preferred. 6 years experience required. 6 - 8 years preferred. Additional required skills listed below. - Proven proficiency with technical applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office products, .Net Framework, VBA and SQL Server. Familiarity with Harvest and .Net is a must. - Strong technical skills and ability to quickly adapt to new technology/systems required. - Strong professional verbal and written communication skills, be able to work independently and will have a proven ability to multi-task, drive execution, and demonstrate a shared sense of urgency. - Ability to identify business improvements and to take action to develop process solutions. - Critical thought and problem solving skills to ensure sustainability with existing applications.
