Job Description:-

The Catalog Quality Operations team at Amazon is looking for highly motivated and talented candidates to participate in auditing and correcting the data in our retail catalog. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong analytical & communication skills, strong attention to details, and a commitment to excellence. The candidate must demonstrate outstanding collaboration and leadership skills.
This would be an individual contributor role. Individual will work very closely with the CQ Audit team to standardize, document and train upon processes within large complex Audit types and/or smaller Audit types. The responsibilities would include identification of Audit process training areas, participate in standardizing processes across Audit types, work with the stakeholders to onboard new Audit processes and write functional requirements. The Catalog Audit Lead would actively engage in the new Audit process on-boarding to drive standardization to existing Audit processes or work on creating new Audit process specification for unique new types of Audit, the same would be added to the CQ Audit team suite of offerings for future. This role would report to the Catalog Audit Operations Manager.
Core responsibilities for this position include:
Define processes, guidelines, and SOPs to perform audit tasks and train team members on how to perform such tasks
Identify generic patterns in browse and audit to be translated into guidelines and SOPs to improve overall audit outcome
Work with project teams to write and test new SOPs for new audit and data quality management tasks
Liaison between the CQ Audit team and other teams to facilitate training, project work and day to day work.
Work closely with various teams (categories, business and technical) to enhance the overall audit activity
Work with all team members to gather requirements on needed system/tools and process improvements and drive them to completion
Streamline existing processes to help the team achieve more consistent results with high quality

Educational Qulifications:-

Undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following fields: Information Science, Library Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in online retail operations or similar fields.
Good understanding of taxonomies, indexing, ontology and other basic information management topics
Proficient in American English. Candidate must demonstrate language proficiency in all the following: verbal, writing, reading and comprehension.
Strong working knowledge of basic computer business applications such as MS Word and MS Excel, Outlook.
Strong background in web search and familiarity with various ways used for searching for information
Good data analysis skills and great attention to details
Familiarity with online retail (e-commerce) and Internet search industries
Willingness to work with sensitive issues, including but not limited to:
Adult content
Religious and philosophically sensitive issues
Alcohol, tobacco, weapons and other potentially offensive products.

Preferred Qualifications:-

ITIL, ITSM, Process Training, Team Building
Comptia CTT+ - CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer
CPLP – Certified Professional in Learning and Performance
Process engineering experience: process design and implementation along with strong understanding of how to identify areas for improvements
ITIL V2 or V3
IT systems audit experience (ISO standards familiarity), COBIT …etc.
Six Sigma certification (preferably Black Belt)
Online retail operations experience or similar experience in related fields
Team lead experiences and/or project management experience and training is a plus
Strong interest in metrics and reporting is highly desirable
Audit certification and previous experience in data or system audit is a plus.
