Cisco Unity Express
Cisco Unity Connection
Unified Contact Center Express/Enterprise 6.x, 7.x, 8.x +
Enterprise Attendant Console (8.x or higher)
Cisco Voice Gateways •& Related systems
Work on Projects/Tasks to implement proposed design/solutions
Troubleshoot system malfunctions
Investigate and analyze the root of problems
Ensure proper operations of the UCB installations
Provide high quality technical support
Use initiative and vision to propose new areas of product and support improvements
Follow a defined schedule and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Work both in a team environment (Global team) and individually on tasks & Projects.
Acquire new knowledge; demonstrate proactive learning and continuous development of the skill set.
University degree is required with 6 years or more of direct work experience with IP telephony, Voice over IP (Cisco) with background data networking technologies such as LAN/WAN and QOS.
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
Understanding of support best practices such as ITIL / Six SIGMA / Quality methodology such as Crosby. And holds a certificate for ITIL (V3 Foundation).
Cisco CCVP certification Mandatory and other Certifications on voice and/or data technologies preferred (CCNP, CCDP, CCIE).
Basic understanding and knowledge of telephony technologies: PBXes, voice gateways, voicemail systems, unified messaging, call routing, dial plans, trunking, signaling, call accounting, industry standards and protocols (H.323, SIP, MGCP, G.711, QSIG, etc), and network services (ISDN, PRI, DS-3, etc)
Experience with voice, video, and web collaboration technologies (such as Cisco MeetingPlace, etc) a plus.
Good time management skills to handle multiple complex support tickets and project/tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communications and presentation skills and candidates must have the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations.
Strong interpersonal skills are needed to team well with peers, customers, project managers, and vendors
