SUMMARY: Responsible for function like Operation, Maintenance and Administration of

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following:

Plan, Organize and Direct the operation and maintenance which ensure the most effective return.

Select and train supervisory and official staff and monitor, instruct them about work.

Inspect every section of plant any time, e.g.: Fuel, Accounts, and Administration, security etc.

Initiative plans and processes which minimize operation cost through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, fuel and capital. Assure attainment of business objective and production schedules under expected period.

Implement power generation strategies and action plan to ensure that the facility supports orient green power’s strategic initiatives.

Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned department for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need.

Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and employees.

Manage spending against budget and in relation to change in production volume.

Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees safety attitude.

Responsible for operation and maintenance and monitoring of capital expenditure, and annual overhauling of boiler, turbines and their auxiliaries like condenser, DM plant, cooling tower, fire fighting system and Ash handling system technically and commercially.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Candidates should be Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or mechanical) with at least 10-15 years work experience in small or medium size power plant.

Boiler operation engineering (BOE) Certificates preferred.

Should be well versed with all operation process. Should possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

SALARY: Within 8 to 9 lakhs Per Annum CTC.

JP Power Ventures owns and operates the 300 MW Baspa-II Hydroelectric Project at District Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh , 400 MW Vishnuprayag Hydroelectric project, at District Chamoli, Uttarakhand and 1000 MW Karcham-Wangtoo at District Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. All the plants are run-of-the-river hydroelectric power projects.
