Position Requirements:-

Key Responsibilities:-

• To drive the delivery of releases in alignment with the overall strategy and vision of the Executive Sponsor of the release
• Act as a single point of contact for anything related to a release
• Provide management oversight of the Release process, including delegation of responsibilities to all personnel required to ensure successful delivery of the release within the scope.
• Develops and communicates detailed release plans and sets release criterion and delivery expectations with key stakeholders. Tracks, updates and communicates release status. Escalates issues in a timely manner where required
• Interact extensively with the functional team leads in the estimation cycle, identification of inter-team dependencies, delivery plan validation, impact assessments, issue tracking / resolution, and status reporting
• Ensure user acceptance tests completed, all defects addressed, and all service requests contained in the release were signed off by the requestors
• Ensure a comprehensive back-out plan exists and validated
• Monitor the production environment post-release for any unexpected situations, and make sure remedial action is taken as quickly as possible
• Facilitate post-release evaluation meetings to discuss issues and identify improvement opportunities after major releases
• Act as a conduit for the change management and communicate the release plan and assess change activity impacts to the release plan
• Coordinate cross team integration activities
• Verify and control scope of the work assigned to the Team
• Proactively identify and manage situations or concerns that adversely affect delivery
• Escalate issues as required to the concerned stake holders, executive sponsor

Mandatory Skills:-

1) Product Development Experience, preferably from Enterprise Applications space
2) Should have multiple program/release experience
3) Prior Project management experience / basic planning, tracking skills
4) Excellent written and oral communication skills
5) Dynamic and enterprising
6) Ability to collaborate with ease  across functional teams/geos
7) PDLC process knowledge

Personal Attributes:-

• Should have worked on large and complex environment
• Should have dealt with large, multi-dimensional R&D/Product teams
• Should have worked with diverse global teams and matrix structure
• Should be aggressive, task master, solution provider, organized and highly energetic.


1) PMP certified
2) Comfortable using Microsoft Project Plan (MPP)
