Reporting to COE leader, the IM Business Analyst will be responsible for SAP solutions for all business processes around Project System.
The candidate will establish operating rhythm with Program Managers/Project Managers/Global Process Leaders to
collaborate on projects /opportunities for simplification/standardization.
Long term strategic planning & contribution to the overall business strategy is key part of this role.
Provide SAP SOLUTION LEADERSHIP for MULTIPLE PROJECTS working with PROGRAM MANAGERS in developing and driving Integrated Business Solutions in SAP Functional Knowledge areas of Project Management using project systems.
Own complete PROJECT SYSTEMS MODULE SOLUTIONS WING-TO-WING; prototyping, blueprinting, design, build, test, documentation and post go-live support including interfaces & cross module integration with FI, SCM and SD
Collaborate with BUSINESS PROCESS LEADS & maintain BUSINESS PROCESS DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE.
Drive SAP SOLUTIONS COE STANDARDS, KNOWLEDGEBASE & BEST PRACTICES
PROACTIVELY WORK with PROJECT MANAGERS, SERVICE PROVIDER PROJECT TEAMS and SAP to resolve technical issues; champion closure on business & technical issues related to process, business rules and technology configuration.
Actively ENGAGE ASSIGNED BUSINESS PROCESS LEADS & SUPPORT TEAM to identify optimization opportunity and IMPROVE BUSINESS SAP SATISFACTION [VOC]
Take complete accountability of QUALITY of solution delivered by project and support team. Ensure BEST, EFFICIENT & MAINTAINABLE Solution; in each SAP Functional Domain is implemented which is aligned with a Cross-Functional Integrated END-TO-END BUSINESS PROCESS; including integrations with extended business systems
Continuously MONITOR SAP SOLUTIONS and BUSINESS TREND; identify business drivers and work closely with PROGRAM MANAGEMENT & ARCHITECT to incorporate relevant technology trends within the business. Explore business and technology alternative approaches, prepare functional and cross-functional design documents and help derive business benefit analysis explaining the Business, Technical Architecture & relevant stakeholders to sponsors
Mentor and develop team members. Effectively communicate & work across MATRIX organization
Work closely with CIO PROGRAM MANAGEMENT TEAM, BUSINESS PROCESS LEADS & SAP to Define BUSINESS PROGRAM AND ALIGN SAP STRATEGY/ROADMAP to ACHIEVE BUSINESS GOALS
Collaborate across BUSINESS & CORPORATE COE
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business Management with minimum 5+ years of SAP work experience
Proven experience in designing and configuring SAP ECC 6.0, PS Module and CROSS-FUNCTIONAL business solutions and system integrations. Exposure to Global cross company Customer Projects, Resource Related Billings, Revenue Recognition is desired. Exposure to BW will be advantageous.
At least 2-3 end-to-end project implementation experience and 2 global rollout project experience
3+ years of domain functional experience in Project Management areas of Planning/Installation/Commissioning of large turnkey projects
Demonstrated SAP Project Management experience would be advantageous
Experience in working with globally distributed multi-cultural teams
Strong written and oral communication skills
Highly motivated, Self-starter
Able to travel overseas
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt experience
Working experience on Agile methodology
Strong interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills
Quality and cost driven
Experience managing multiple initiatives
