Essential Qualification:- M.Tech. in Hydrology/ Water Resources with B. Tech. in Civil or Agricultural engineering.

Desirable Qualification:- Research experience in climate change studies and hydrological modeling along with sufficient experience in computer programming with first class academic record.

Job Description:- Required to work in a multidisciplinary team and will be engaged in education/training/ research and field investigation related to hydrological processes and modeling, Impact of climate change on hydrology and GCM/RCM Downscaling.

Pay & Allowances:-

1. Scientist/Engineer - SC Rs 15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: Rs 5400/- p.m
2.. Scientist/Engineer - SD Rs 15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: Rs 6600/- p.m

In addition, other allowances as per Govt. rules will be admissible. Total emoluments at Dehradun will be Rs 50,288 and Rs 42,240 for “SD” and “SC” respectively. Selected candidates will be entitled to have the ISRO CHSS Medical & limited housing facilities. Age as on 01.03.2012:

(A)The age limit for the post of Scientist/Engineer-SC is 35 years but relaxable for 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates.
(B) There is no age limit for the post of Scientist/Engineer – SD.
