Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    Keen eye for observation, process oriented & has high levels of integrity
    Knowledge on Quality Assurance practices like HACCP etc
    Knowledge on F&B quality processes
    Ability to Multi-Task with quick response time
    Comfortable with medium Travel frequency

Qualifications:

    Commerce Graduate with MBA / Equalent Degree specialized in Operations or SCM

Exposure:

    10 -12 yrs of Supply chain experience especially in Logistics Area in a medium sized Retail, manufacturing or distribution sector
    Experience in F&B industry mandatory
    High expertise & experience level in forecasting systems and dynamic inventory management
    Strong capabilities in tendering, techno-commercial negotiations, and contract finalization and execution

Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial:

    A keen strategist with expertise in analytics and managing entire operations with key focus on profitability by ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
    Comprehensive experience in managing end to end Supply Chain Operations ensuring maximum growth and profitability within the defined guidelines.
    Review historical sales trends, analyze varying demands and set up the Inventory Norms across all warehouses and production Hubs. Develop an error free forecast plan and adhere to the plan.
    Ensuring 100% statutory compliance across all the CFA & Warehouses pertaining to all documents/Licenses related to Insurance, sale Tax, PFA & health Licenses, fire licenses, etc.

Learning & Development Management:

    Retention, effective involvement and utilization of manpower.
    Appraise subordinates, Provide Feedback on performance management.
    Team development and growth.
    Addressing complaints & resolving problems.

Process Indicators and Customer orientation:

    Good In Developing & streamlining ERP systems and (SAP) with proven ability to enhance operational effectiveness and meet operational goals within the cost, time, quality and futuristic parameters.
    Ensuring High Fill Rates, Accurate Supply and Inventory Management, timely process of Back orders, ensure On-Time Delivery and High Responsiveness to business demand.
    To optimize inventory turns, monitor the movement of stocks depending on seasonality and minimize obsolete / damaged / expired inventory in the system.
    Support Operations with quick response and resolve issues effectively.
    Setting the SOPs for Transportation /Logistics Vendors, Empanelment. CFA Agencies, Land Lords, and Transport vendors service and cost evaluation on quarterly basis on Service, Reliability, and Quality and service parameters.
    Ensuring the alternatives of transporters and CFA agencies are in place to avoid hindrances in the operations.
    Continuous process improvement in strategic planning resulting in improvement in SCM programs.
    Periodic Vendor Account Reconciliation.

Authority:

    Vendor selection. (Transporter, Octroi, Mathadi, manpower Agency and Other Local body Vendors)
    Investment decisions for increased productivity of the department
    Approve travel reimbursement of subordinates
    Approve Transport Bills
