Job Discription:-

Job Profile

Installation and configuration of Windows NT/2000/2003 servers.

Applying Service Packs and Hot fixes.

Configuration of Domains, Active Directories, WINS and DNS.

Configuration of RAID, Network properties, ODBC drivers and DSNs.

Monitoring system performance and Systematic Troubleshooting of problems

Managing users accounts, user rights, file/folder permission and system policies

Tuning System Registry and Registering system components.

Installation and administration of IIS and FTP server

Improving server security using Microsoft tools.

Configuring SSL with customer provided certificates

Job Requirments:-


Strong fundamentals on Windows Server Operating Systems (NT, 2000 & 2003) Expertise in managing Print, File, Active Directory, WINS, DNS, IIS and Terminal Servers

Patch management (preliminary and post implementation review processes) Performance Monitoring. (Disk, Memory, CPU, Applications, Swap and log files)

You must have

Knowledge on backup and restore methodology and good understanding of backup tools

Good communication (verbal and written) skills

Must be an active team player

Positive attitude and a good learner


Engineers with 4 to 10 years experience.

Preferred Certifications

MCSE – Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

MCSA – Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator

CCNA, BEA Weblogic -System Administrator

Citrix Certification
