Hands on experiance BMC Control-M administrative activities.
Ability to work on migration from batch tool to other.
Able to read through and understand UNIX shell scripts, windows batch files and JCL's
Suggest remediation and improvement procedures for jobs (Unix Scripts and JCL)
Ability to investigate Root cause as well as solution providing.
Prior experience in application deployments
Job scheduling in Mainframe and midrange environment on 1 or more of the standard scheduling tools
Ability to resolve production issues which is related to system related issues.
Ability to write shell scripts,windows batch files and/or JCL's as per clients requirement.
Provide concrete input during the brainstorming activity to provide solution to customer requirements.
Ability to provide automation solutions to recurring operation issues.
Ability to interact with vendor and implement scheduling software upgrades.
Ability to write SQL queries to obtain the required data.
Hands on experience on at least one of the version control(midrange) and/or program management(mainframe) tools.
Ability to interact with customer and flawlessly.
Work as on call over the weekend and non business hours, supporting production environment.
