JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the escalation and post sales technical support, through remote telephone support to global authorised organisations such as Novell distributors, major accounts and partner resellers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide high quality, timely, effective and appropriate email or telephone technical support to the authorised customer base for Novell products. To provide on-site technical support when appropriate to Novell's customers. To participate in customer training programmes. To participate in presentations at specified trade shows. Willingness to provide support cover for countries outside defined work area when need arises. To pro-actively participate in relevant product life cycle/readiness programs. To provide mentor and escalation support for other members of ISC in assigned technology areas. To at all times ensure application and adherence to ISC Business Management System processes.

* Technical qualifications with two years of industry experience in a similar role.
* CNE, MCSE, CCNA or hands on experience in the networking field / supporting Operating Systems
* Previous experience with LAN/WAN communications technology products (specifically TCP/IP networks)
* Excellent telephone skills
* Demonstrated time management skills
* Proven quality track record with dealing with customers via electronic methods
* Demonstrated ability to work in a "team" environment
* Strong communication skills and ability to work comfortably with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
* Proven ability to keep abreast of technological developments
* Excellent listening skills
