About Capri Institute of Hair Design
CAPRI Institute of Hair Design, was founded in 1961 by Helmut E. Muenster.  Mr. Muenster was highly regarded and well known throughout the tri-state area as "the man with the golden scissors."  He asserted a vision that could reach far beyond the mainstream of the industry and planted a solid seed rooted out of his love of teaching.

Since the passing of Mr. Muenster in early 1983, CAPRI Institute, Cosmetology Training Centers have continued to flourish and demand the highest of standards under the assured direction and focus of owner Anne E. Muenster.  Along with the energetic expertise of Director, Bridget Damiano; including the enduring dedication of Area Supervisor, Marge Amorosi, Office Manager, Janice McCurley, Controller, Donna Haberstroh and the established guidance of Institute Staff, Faculty and Instructors; together, have made CAPRI the preferred choice in beauty education.  This collective effort has propelled CAPRI's five campuses including Clifton, Kenilworth, Brick, Paramus and Roxbury into the permanent fixtures that they are today.

In combination with its resilient reputation, CAPRI Institute has consistently demonstrated and encouraged excellence for the past 48 years, and with true commitment will adhere to these standards for continual growth with each coming day.
