About Fairleigh Dickinson University - Vancouver
The Fairleigh Dickinson University - Vancouver was founded in 1942. It is largest private (not-for-profit) university in the state of New Jersey (USA) with approximately 14,000 graduate and undergraduate students and more than 100 degree programs ranging from the Associate of Arts (A.A.) to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).

The University’s two main campuses are located in New Jersey – the Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck-Hackensack (just minutes from New York City) and The College at Florham in Florham Park-Madison; and its two remaining campuses are international in location – one in Wroxton, Oxfordshire, England (established in 1965) and the other (its newest campus) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The FDU-Vancouver campus offers accredited professional degree programs to international students with majors in business administration and information technology.  Students majoring in business administration are required to complete a concentration in international business and may elect to complete a second concentration in entrepreneurship, finance, information technology, or marketing.  Students majoring in information technology typically complete a minor in business administration.  In addition, the FDU-Vancouver campus (as well as the University’s new location in Shanghai, China) offers a Pre-University Program which provides advanced English-language training for students who meet the University’s requirements for admission but require additional training in English (in speaking and/or writing) prior to matriculating in a degree program.  The Vancouver campus boasts an excellent and dedicated core of full- and part-time faculty; a new, state-of-the art facility; small class sizes; close working relations between students, faculty and staff; and an intensive and unrivaled student support system focused on individual student success.
