About University of Bath
University of Bath was established in 1966. It is located in Bath, England.

It received its Royal Charter in 1966. With 20 out of its 26 subjects being ranked within top 10 in the UK, Bath is placed the 6th in the table of Who's in Top Ten of Their Subjects from the Complete University Guide published by the Independent in April 2009. In addition the Guardian University Guide 2010 placed Bath 9th nationally. Furthermore, in the latest Research Assessment Exercise released in December 2008, two thirds of Bath's individual subject submissions are ranked in the top ten nationally, including over a third in the top five.

The University has had close connections with industry and the public and voluntary sectors since its inception in 1966. It has developed strong links with universities abroad.

The University's buildings are set in an attractive campus about a mile from the centre of Bath, a World Heritage City. It is a safe and friendly campus with strong student services and good social opportunities. Its sports facilities are first-class

Q : What is the criteria for study in UK for international students?

Ans : if student have done only 10+2 then you need minimum 4 Ielts score for admission and then you need to pay college fees for CAS and then assess your financial and lodge your visa application file. and if student have done any 2 years full time diploma after 10+2 then Ielts is not mandatory and even for PG courses few colleges grant admission without Ielts also. Embassy also says that for Level 6 and pg courses Ielts is not mandatory. for any further query about this apex.study@yahoo.in

Q : I am a national level tennis player & I also have a ranking in international level. I an from Mumbai. I will complete my HSC in 2010. I want to take up tennis as a career, & I am planning to go to USA, Florida for tennis coaching after 12. Ans : I am surprised to know your dedication towards the sport. Good. See there are no easy courses, Wherever you take interest becomes easy. If you are really interested in Tennis or Sports for that matter, You can take up a course in Physical education. By the way in which subject are you doing your HSC.
