Head Start Montessori House of Children was established in 1984. It is situated in Koramangala, Bangalore, India. It has a Pre-Primary Programme for children aged 2½ to 6 years and a growing Primary Programme for children aged 6 and above. The Primary Programme, presently upto Grade V in 2009, will be adding one class per year so that by 2014 our present Grade V students will be in Grade X. These programmes are based on the spirit, philosophy and vision of Dr. Maria Montessori.

Head Start Montessori House of Children  Admission Procedure and Admission Fee:-

Admission policy:-

Admissions to Head Start are made depending on the number of vacancies and based on information provided on a completed application form as well as from personal discussions with the parents.

Application:-

Applications for Admission, both Pre-Primary and Primary, are issued at the Front Office on receipt of the Application Form Fee, either at a specific time of year or at other times if an opening is possible. If there are no vacancies you may leave your child's details on a waiting list and you will be contacted if a space becomes available. Children join the Head Start Pre-Primary Programme between 2.6 and 2.9 years. They are not offered admission once they are 3 years of age. The only exception would be if they have already attended a Montessori House of Children and then too there must be a vacancy.

The Primary programme is for children who have had a Pre-Primary Montessori Education at Head Start. Under certain circumstances and if a vacancy arises, admission may be given to a child from another Pre-Primary Montessori school. All decisions regarding Admission are taken by the Managing Trustee and/or Principal.

Fees:-

Parents are expected to pay the fees by the due date. Should a parent/s experience financial difficulties they could address a letter to the Managing Trustee and request for payments in instalments. The payment arrangements should be given to the Public Relations Officer in writing.
Fees may be paid at our office during working hours on normal working days. Cheques/drafts should be in favour of "Head Start Educational Trust".
A returned cheque fee will be charged for all returned cheques.

You should have passed 12th exam from a recoughnized board with BIOLOGY as a subject.
some of the reputed universities are asking for minimum 55% marks in 12th exam.
