Kasiga School is a coeducational, English medium residential school. Käsiga School is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The School is also accredited by University of Cambridge International Examinations, UK. CBSE administers a public examination at the end of class X and another at the end of class XII. CIE has the IGCSE examination at the end of class X and AS/A level examinations at the end of classes XI and/or class XII. Academic Session: 1st April to 31st May/15th July to 15th December/1st February to 31st March.

The Kasiga School is situated 3000 ft above sea level. The campus consists of a Wi-Fi environment which will soon be upgraded to a 2Mbps leased line from BSNL. All classrooms have 25 seats and have been designed keeping light and ventilation in mind with an extended portion at the rear to provide students with more space should the need arise and a sense of openness. A Computer Lab, a Maths Lab, three music rooms, one Art room, one Design Technology Lab, separate Physics, Chemistry & Biology Labs, a Library, a Basketball Court, twin Tennis Courts, a Soccer/Hockey field, Cricket Practice nets, Riding area, a 10 m Air Pistol Shooting Gallery, an Athletic field and the Yoga Pavilion.

Registration: Registration is open for class III onwards. The completed Application Form may be deposited with the Admissions Office accompanied with a payment of Rs. 10,000 as Registration Fee. This fee is non-refundable. Registration does not guarantee a seat reservation. Those children who are registered will appear for an assessment test in January each year.

Assessment: The assessment is general covering English, Mathematics, Science & General Knowledge. Questions will be based on the syllabus suggested for the class that the child has just passed out of. Preparation for this assessment is not recommended. This assessment takes 2 hours to complete and first time visitors may like to use this time to take a Campus tour.

Interview: After the assessment there will be an interview with the Principal, on the same day.

Successful candidates will be finalised by 31st January each year and those who wish to take Admission will be required to submit documentation and deposit the fees, by 31st January.

Generel eligibility for BSc Bioinformatics:

You should have passed 12th exam from a recoughnized board with BIOLOGY as a subject.
some of the reputed universities are asking for minimum 55% marks in 12th exam.
