La Martiniere for Boys was established in 1836. It is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi, which conducts the ICSE and ISC Examinations at the close of Classes X and XII.

Admission Procedure:-

The format for admission into the Lower Nursery is posted on the School Notice Board/Website in the last week of November/first week of December. Applications for the admission to the Lower Nursery, along with relevant documents, are required to be dropped into the specially marked letter box provided by the school

A list of candidates selected for an interaction with the Principal and the Board of Governors are then posted on the School Notice Board at a later date.

Admission to all other classes are only against vacancies. Applications for these classes may be submitted to the Principal in the month of March only.


This school offers facilities like library, laboratories, well ventilated classrooms & a play area.

Bio informatics is the mixed study of biology and Information science.There are many institutes offering this course in india.Fee structure for BSc Bioinformatics, varies from university to university. also the scope of placement varies.

Generel eligibility for BSc Bioinformatics:

You should have passed 12th exam from a recoughnized board with BIOLOGY as a subject.
