Lake Montfort school & P.U College Admission Procedure and Admission Fee:-

Normally admissions are made only into Pre K.G. However depending on the availability of seats/ vacancies, admission to other classes may also be made. The prospects and registration form will be issued only during the last week of January, and valid only for that particular year.
 
REGISTRATION PARTICULARS
 
Registration for admission must be made on the prescribed form issued along with the prospectus.      
       
The registration form is valid only for a period of one month from the date of issue. The form is not transferable.      
       
Filled-in application forms for admission should reach the Principal within seven days from the date of issue      
       
Securing and filling in the registration form does not guarantee admission. Admission will be considered only if seats/ vacancies are available.      
       
All students seeking admission should enclose Photostat copies of:      
     
a. The birth certificate.
b. Statement of marks of progress in class from the  previous school.
c. Other certificates of co-curricular activities, if any.
d. In case of Roman Catholics, an identity declaration  from the parish priest along with the Baptism           certificate should be enclosed.
e. Two self addressed stamped envelopes of 14 x 9 cms size, along with the registration form.      
             

Registration forms which do not give the necessary information not be accepted.      
             

Students seeking admission may required to sit for an entrance test in English, Mathematics & Science on a specified date. (Except for admission to Pre.K.G.)      
             

Students provisionally selected will have to attend an interview along with both the parents or guardian on the date mentioned in the intimation card/ letter.      
             

At the time of admission the following original certificates must be submitted:
     
     
a. Originals of the certificates mentioned in No. 5.
b. Transfer certificate from the school last attended (TC and Mark list of students from outside the      State Should be countersigned by the inspecting officer of the area concerned.)
c. Conduct certificate
d. Tow copies of latest passport size photograph, with the names of student written behind.
e. Blood group (Certified by a doctor.)      
             

Failure to submit one or more of the above mentioned certificates may result in forfeiting the admission.      
             
If discrepancies are found in the certificates, admission will be cancelled from the date it has been discovered.      
             
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO PUC:-
 
A pass in Karnataka SSLC Examination or any other equivalent Examination recognized by the P.U.E., Govt. of Karnataka (such as CBSE/ ICSE). The candidate should satisfy all the conditions set by the P.U.E. Board. Foreign Nationals and candidates who have passed Std. X or equivalent Examination abroad must obtain eligibility certificate from the Director of P.U.E. Board before securing admission.
 
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED
 
      I Original Certificates (with photo copies attested by a Gazetted Officer):      
       
      i).    SSLC or equivalent marks card
ii).   T.C. from School last attended
iii). Conduct Certificate
iv). Community Certificate (if applicable) SC/ ST. G1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B group      
             
II A recent photograph of the applicant with name, class group written at the back. Correctly and legibly filled in application should reach the College Office on or before the date announced by the Principal. The list of provisionally selected candidates will be published on the College notice board. These will be enrolled on payment of the fees. Fees once paid will not be refunded. Please note that admission is always subject to P.U.E. Board approval.      
             
WITHDRAWALS Students are admitted at Lake Montfort School on the understanding that they will remain in the school at least for the entire academic year. However, parents desirous of withdrawing their child before the end of the academic year may do so, by giving a requisition in writing. The fees paid will not be refunded. Students who have failed twice in the same class will be asked to leave the school. Discontinued or failed students will not be given a promoted TC.

Bio informatics is the mixed study of biology and Information science.There are many institutes offering this course in india.Fee structure for BSc Bioinformatics, varies from university to university. also the scope of placement varies.

Generel eligibility for BSc Bioinformatics:

You should have passed 12th exam from a recoughnized board with BIOLOGY as a subject.
some of the reputed universities are asking for minimum 55% marks in 12th exam.
