St. Raphael Girls Higher Secondary School Admission Procedure and Admission Fee:-

Adimssion Policy and Registration:-

Admission Policy:-

Admissions are open to all, subject to the availability of seats and student's eligibility. For Nursery a child who completes 3 years by July 1st is eligible for seeking admission. For K.G. I a child who completes three and half years as on July 1, is eligible for seeking admission. For other classes, students whose parents are on transfer may apply for admission. Preference is given to students who are coming from those schools which are affiliated to the CBSE. However, this will depend on the availability of seats in every class.

Admission to Nursery & K.G. I:-

Registration :

1) Registration forms along with prospectus are issued in January with prior announcement of date & time on payment of Rs. 100/- (non-refundable). (This is applicable to all the classes.)

2) The original Birth Certificate from the Municipality
or Panchayat and a photocopy of it should be produced. No other type of Birth Certificate shall be accepted.

3) Registration form should be filled in by parents only in the school itself. A passport size photograph & photocopy of the Birth Certificate should be affixed on the Registration form. Forms taken out of the school premises will not be accepted.

4) After the registration, on the same day, the candidates, along with their parents, will be called for an interview.

5) Registration does not guarantee admission. Selection is done by a competent panel who will assess the student's bio-data, parental cooperation and general fitness and aptitude for learning.

Admission Formalities :-

1) A list of the selected students will be displayed on the Notice Board.

2) On intimation, the parents of selected candidates should get the Admission Form from the office and submit it with the following requirements : -

(a) Original Birth Certificate - stating clearly : (1) Child's Name (2) Date of Birth (3) Parents' Name and Surname.

(b) Registration Slip.

(c) One Passport-size Photograph.

3) Parents should complete the admission formalities on the dates allotted to them. SEATS WILL NOT BE KEPT RESERVED.

 

Admission in Other Classes:-

Registration and Entrance Examination :-

1) Admission to Secondary Section is primarily reserved for our students from the primary section. However, parents coming from other places on transfers
are eligible to seek admission provided there is vacancy.

2) The Original Mark Sheet of the last examination from the previous school (and other testimonials such as the transfer order of the parent etc.) should be submitted while registering for the entrance examination.

3) The applicants have to register for the examination.

4) Applicants shall be examined in Mathematics,
Science, Social Studies, G.K. and English.

5) The results will be published within three days.

Admission Formalities

a) A selected student should come along with both the parents for the admission.

b) A true copy of the Mark Sheet, Transfer Certificate (duly countersigned) and two passport size photographs should be brought along.

c) No provisional admission will be given.

d) Once the result of the entrance examination is announced the admission formalities should be completed within five days after which seats will not be kept reserved.

 

E. Admission in Class XI:-

Admission to the Senior Secondary Section is primarily reserved for our own students. The School offers the following subjects and combinations :

Groups :-

Group A - English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Hindi/ Computer/ Biology/ Home Science.

Group B - English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Hindi/ Computer/ Bio-Tech/ Home Science.

Group B - English, Business Studies, Accounts, Economics, Hindi/ Computer/ Bio-Tech/ Home Science.

As the seats are limited, all students cannot be admitted in the above groups. Therefore, the criteria for selection and admission are as follows:

1) The school prepares a merit list, taking the average
of the Internal Assessment and the Board Results of class X.

2) Students are called (along with their parents) in the order of merit, for counselling before a panel of teachers.

3) A student may get the group of her choice, subject to her performance and availability of seats.

4) Those who get compartment in the Board Examination are not eligible for admission to class XI in the following session. They may apply in the next session after having cleared the compartmental examination.

Bio informatics is the mixed study of biology and Information science.There are many institutes offering this course in india.Fee structure for BSc Bioinformatics, varies from university to university. also the scope of placement varies.

Generel eligibility for BSc Bioinformatics:

You should have passed 12th exam from a recoughnized board with BIOLOGY as a subject.
some of the reputed universities are asking for minimum 55% marks in 12th exam.
