IGNOU B.Ed Admission
Eligibility- The Eligibility for B.Ed is a bachelor’s degree or post graduate degree (higher degree) from a recognized university or institution. It is also preferable that candidates have two years full time teaching experience as primary, graduate or post graduate teacher in a primary, secondary or higher school or institution recognized by the state or center. Selection Criteria - Admission to B.Ed courses in India is done on the basis of academic qualification as well as written test that is conducted by various colleges and universities. The final selection of candidates is done on the basis of performance in written test and academic qualification. Careers after B.Ed- For careers after B.Ed in government schools it is necessary that candidates appear for state and national level test. This state level organised test is known as STET State Teachers Eligibility Test while the national level test is National Eligibility test (NET). After clearing this test candidates can apply for teaching job in any government schools. Apart from those there aspirants can also apply for jobs in prestigious public schools. There are also lucrative career options for B. Ed grads abroad.
