Bangalore University Distance Learning Admission:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

For BA:-

a) Pass in the Two Years Pre-University examination  (including Supplementary) examination conducted by the  Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka State  (10+2 Pattern) or equivalent examination thereto.
                         OR                    
(b) A pass in any of the following examinations considered  equivalent thereto like;
   
i)  Pre-University Examination in Vocational Courses, Conducted by the Department of Vocational Education, Government of Karnataka (10+2).

ii) Three years Diploma Courses conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Government  of Karnataka. (10+3 pattern).
   
iii) Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination conducted by National Open School, New Delhi as +2  Stage examinations corresponding to the  Pre-University examination.
   
iv) "INSTANT" Intermediate examination of the Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Examination Board (+2)
   
v)  Job Oriented Pre-University Diploma Courses Conducted by the State Council for Vocational  Education in Karnataka or other states which are  considered as equivalent to two years of P.U.C.  of Karnataka.


For BCOM:-   

(a) Pass in the Two years Pre -University examination  (including Supplementary) examination conducted by the  Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka State (10+2 Pattern)  or equivalent examination thereto.
    OR
(b) A pass in any of the following examinations considered  equivalent like:
 
i) Job Oriented Pre- University Diploma Courses Conducted  by the State Council for Vocational Education in Karnataka  or other states which are considered as equivalent to two years of P.U.C of Karnataka (10+2).
 
ii)Diploma in Business administration conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Karnataka  (10 + 3).

   
For BBM:-

(a) Pass in the Two years Pre-University examination (including Supplementary) examination conducted by the  Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka State  (10+2 Pattern) or equivalent thereto.
    OR
(b) Job Oriented Pre-University Diploma Courses conducted  by the State Council for Vocational Education in Karnataka  or other states which are considered as equivalent to two  years of P.U.C of Karnataka.

For M.A

M.A. Degree Course in Languages(Kannada, English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu. French, Sanskrit)

Duration:-

Minimum Duration: 2 years.
Maximum Duration to complete the Course : 6 years.

Eligibility:-

(1) A pass in B.A. Degree Examination of Bangalore University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto, provided he/she has secured at least 40% marks in the aggregate of all the optional subjects and 50% of the marks in the concerned relevant-optional (cognate) subject.
    
OR
(2) A pass in B.A./B.Sc/B.Com examination of Bangalore University or any other recognized University securing not less than 55% of marks in languages concerned under part-I (Two years)
    
OR

1 A pass in B.A./B.Sc/B.Com examination of Bangalore University or any other recognized University and also a pass in relevant examination mentioned below are eligible for admission to concerned PG Courses:-

M.A. in Kannada:- Graduation with pass in Kannada Rathna or Pandit examination

M.A. in Hindi:- Graduation with pass in Rashtrabasha Visharada examination of Dakshinabharat, Hindi Prachar Sabha or any other examination Considered as equivalent thereto.

M.A. in Sanskrit:- Graduation with pass in the Sahitya Examination

M.A. in French:- Graduation with Diploma Superior of Alliance Franchaise or Higher Diploma of any recognizedUniversity/Institute.


For M.Sc Mathematics

Duration:-

Minimum Duration: 2 Years.
Maximum Duration to complete the Course: 6 years.

Eligibility:-

Bachelor's degree in Science Graduates of Bangalore University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto securing not less than 40% of Marks in the aggregate of all the optional (major) subjects with 50% of marks in Mathematics.
