Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT) is a autonomous Institute under Ministry of Human Resource Developement, Governement of India. CICT was established for promoting the cause of Classical Tamil. This is a research institution also engages in language and literature study of classical dravidian scripts. CICT also awards doctoral fellowships to individuals wishing to study and conduct extensive research in subject. CICT Recruitment is done for the following job profiles Lecturers- Lecturers are required for the linguistic studies and especially as subject guides for doctoral fellowship programs offered by the institute. Assistant Professors- Recruitment of assistant professors are done on contractual basis for linguistic study and educational technology department Other office related functions related recruitment in CICT include that of recruitment of personal secretary, UDC Clerks, stenographers etc.
