Cochin Shipyard was incorporated in the year 1972 as a fully owned Government of India company. This yard has the capacity to build and repair the largest vessels in India.

The Shipyard also trains graduate engineers in marine engineering. Applicants on completion of training can seek job lucartive opportunities in both Indian and foreign ships as 5th Engineers. On an average more than 100 engineers are trained every year.

Engineers- Engineers are recruited for various engineering related processes in Cochin Ship Yard Corporation.

Ship draftsman Trainee- Ship Draftsman Trainee are skilled professionals involved in the design of vessel and various other related equipment and machinery.

Semi Skilled Tradesmen- Semi skilled tradesmen proficient in various ITI trades and holding a national apprentice certificate are selected for this job profile.
