IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open University was established in 1985 with the objective to impart high-quality teaching through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode.

Today, IGNOU serves the educational aspirations of over 4 million students in India and is present in 36 other countries through 21 Schools of Studies and a network of 67 regional centres, around 3,000 learner support centres and 67 overseas centres. The University offers about 490 certificate, diploma, degree and doctoral programmes for students. IGNOU MBA:-

Course duration

Minimum Duration:- 2.6 Years
Maximum Duration:- 8 Years

Eligibility:-

Graduation in any discipline with 50 per cent marks in case of general Category and 45 per cent marks for reserved category applicants.
                                            OR
Bachelor's degree with three years of supervisory/ managerial/professional experience, or Professional Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/ Law/ Pharmacy or Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/ Cost and Works Accountancy/ Company Secretary ship etc. or Masters Degree in any subject.

Selection Procedure:- Admission is done  through OPENMAT Enrance Exam conducted by IGNOU. Candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT and State level tests need not appear in OPENMAT.

Non graduates that is (10+2) or its equivalent with six year experience in managerial and professionals fields who have cleared the test are eligible for applying for Diploma in Management.


IGNOU MCA:-

IGNOU MCA prepares graduate students for productive careers in software industry and academia by providing an outstanding environment for teaching and research in the core and emerging areas of the discipline.

Minimum Duration:- 3 Years
Maximum Duration:- 6 Years

Course fees- Rs 31, 600/-

Age limit- No age bar

Eligibility:-

Any graduate from a recognised university is eligible for applying for this course. However students who have not pursued Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level are required to pursue and pass the CS-60 course concurrently.

Course Fees: -

Rs. 9,000 per semester.
Rs. 100 in addition to Rs. 9,000 as Registration Charges for the First Semester.
For non-maths students, an additional fee of Rs. 1,200 has to be paid for CS-60.


Apply for IGNOU Courses-

You can apply for IGNOU Courses through any one of the following means

a)  Credit Card- IGNOU courses application form are to be filled online. Payment of program fees can done through credit card. On completion of the application procedure you are required to take a copy of online application form and forward it to the regional center mentioned along with requisite documents.

b) Challan- In case of payment of program fee through challan your are requested to make the payment first at any Axis Bank and Punjab National Bank outlets along with nominal bank charges. A copy of bank challan must be preserved for future reference. Details of the same must be quoted during application. On completion of application please note the system generated application number. Printout of application form and challan need to be taken. It is suitable to make two copies of the application form. Bank retains one challan and gives the other two to the applicants. Application forms affixed with photograph and signature need to be forwarded by mail along with necessary documents to nearest RC.

c) Bank Draft- Payment of program fee needs through bank draft needs to be done first before online application. Applicants on completion of application procedure are required to send a copy of application along with requisite documents to the nearest RC.

IGNOU online application form submission

On completion of online application applicants are required as per admission norms to make IGNOU online application form submission at the nearest regional center. Print of application form along with two system generated application numbers must be affixed with photograph and duly signed. Proof regarding fee payment must also be sent along with application. Fee proof is not required in case of payment of fees to credit card.

If payment is made through Challan or bank draft you are required to furnish the following details that is name, auto generated number and program applied.
