GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) is a standardized admission test used by many graduate schools in the United States and other English-speaking countries. This test is common admission test for English-taught graduate and business programs world-wide.
Eligibility:-
Prospective graduate and business school applicants from all around the world take the GRE revised General Test. Applicants from varying educational and cultural backgrounds take the GRE revised General Test as it is a common measure for comparing candidates' qualifications.
GRE scores are used by admissions or fellowship panels to supplement undergraduate records, recommendation letters and other qualifications for graduate-level study.
GRE Test Dates and Place:-
The GRE revised General Test is available at about 700 test centers in more than 160 countries. In most regions of the world, the computer-based test is available on a continuous basis throughout the year. In Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, the computer-based test is available one to three times per month. In areas of the world where there is no computer-based testing facility the test is administered in a paper-based format up to three times a year in October, November and February.

There are four ways you can register for the computer-based GRE revised General Test

You need to create or have a My GRE Account to register online on https://mygre.ets.org/greweb/login/login.jsp
Payment by credit/debit card only — American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard or VISA. Note that ETS reserves the right to add or delete payment options at its own discretion and without notice.
Phone:-

•Call the appropriate Regional Registration Center (RRC) at least two business days before your preferred test date.
•A confirmation number, reporting time and the test center address will be given to you when you call.
•Phone registration is not available for test takers in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.
Fax:-
•Use American Express, Discover, JCB, and MasterCard, VISA or a voucher number. Note that ETS reserves the right to add or delete payment options at its own discretion and without notice.
•Fax the International Test Scheduling Form (PDF) to the appropriate RRC.
•The form must be received at least seven days before your first-choice test date.
•A confirmation number, reporting time and the test center address will be emailed, faxed or mailed to you.
•You will be assigned a test date, time and location based on the information you provide on the form. If your requested date(s) cannot be accommodated, you will be scheduled for the next available test date. If your assigned test date does not meet your needs, call the appropriate RRC within 24 hours of receipt of your registration confirmation.
•If you do not receive a confirmation of your appointment, call the appropriate RRC at least three business days before your earliest test date choice. If you missed your appointment and did not call the RRC, your test fee will not be refunded. If you provide an email address, you may receive a confirmation by email.
•Fax registration is not available for test takers in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.

If your requested date(s) cannot be accommodated, you will be scheduled for the next available test date. Payment methods include: credit/debit card (American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard or VISA), E-Check (drawn against U.S. bank accounts only) and PayPal Information.

Mail registration — Preferred payment method is by certified check or money order.
Download and complete the Registration Form for the Paper-based GRE revised General Test (PDF) and mail it with payment to the address printed on the form. The form must be received at ETS by the registration deadline. Four weeks has been allotted for the processing of forms. Please note that duly filled registration forms cannot be faxed.
