GRE 2017 Application Procedure:-

GRE Online Application form is available on the GRE official website. There are three accepted forms of registration for GRE test.

•Online Registration. (This form of registration is open for both computer as well as paper based GRE test). 
•Registration through Phone.(This form of registration is open for only GRE online test).
•Registration through mail. (This type of registration is open for GRE online test).

1. Online Registration- Steps for online registration is as follows:-

a)GRE My account is important. This can be created on the website. Please refer to the followinglinkhttps://mygre.ets.org/greweb/login/login.jsp
b)Then you need to select the country and the date you would want to take the test. (On doing so you will come to know the exam format available i.e. Computer or paper based test).
c)After creating a GRE my account you can log in and fill in application form. Carefully fill in all the necessary details as information once provided cannot be changed.
d)You are then required to make payments. This can be done using a valid debit and credit card.
e)Payments can also be made through Echeck or Paypal. (Please choose the mode of payment which is convenient to you and at the same time prescribed and deemed applicable by GRE).
f)On completion of registration a test admission ticket and acknowledgement  is issued immediately. Please take a print copy of the admission ticket.

2.  Registration through phone – Steps for registration through phone is as follows:-

a)You need to call the GRE test or prometrics centers near you. The detail of prometrics centers is provided on ETS website.
b)Make sure you provide correct information as asked by the prometrics center.
c)Note down the registration number given during the call.
d)Also note the date and reporting time and center of the test.
e)ETS accepts payment of test fees through credit or debit card.

3. Registration through mail- Steps for registration through mail is as follows

a)You are first required to fill in the Authorization Voucher Request form available on ETS website.
b)You are then required to fill in the application form carefully and mail to the address mentioned along with the check or money order.
c)Finally call ETS as soon as you received your voucher confirming the date of the test. In case you lose the voucher you can also request  ETS for a new voucher.
