Gujarat Board Exam 2020 for SSC, HSC Time Table

The Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) was constituted in 1972. GSEB conduct Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam for Standard 10 and the Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (HSC) exam for Standard 12 students in Gujarat.

GSHSEB provides  guidance to the state government about the Policies governing Secondary and higher secondary Education, its development and qualitative enhancement. In an overview, its duties are:

1. Preparing  Curriculars & syllabus

2. Registering new Secondary schools and monitoring their performance on a continuous basis

3. Providing developmental guidance about school result.

4. Organizing training for teachers and principals

5. Facilitating educational research

6. Framing the Rules & Regulations for school management and ensuring their effective implementation.
