Job Snippet-

Management Trainees- Management Trainees are recruited for various departmental skills like technical and integrated materials management. These are technical functions. While in non technical sphere managers are appointed for the posts of finance and human resource. A majority of recruitments of HAL are centered around technical and non technical MT.

Engineers- Engineers are required for various engineering functions in the corporation that include mechanical, production, metal, metallurgy electronics and civil functions.

IT Engineers- Even though IT falls under the engineering department the recruitment for the same are done separately. IT engineers are entrusted with functions of computers, engineering systems and software for the organisation

Teachers- Teachers and Lecturers in HAL are recruited for regular as well as contracted posts.

Paramedical Staff- Paramedical Staff in HAL consists of staff nurses, medical officers and pharmacists who are entrusted with the paramedical services of every institution.

Academic Competence- The academic competence for jobs in HAL depends upon the skill. For instance in case of technical position of MT candidates with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics, engineering, mechanical and metallurgy are preferred. Applicants are also required to have a minimum aggregate in engineering degree exams. In case of MT (materials and management) candidates with a bachelor’s degree in electric, mechanical and production engineering are preferred. They are also required to have a minimum aggregate in their engineering degree exam. The educational eligibility for Management Trainees (finance) is graduation in commerce. Candidates preferably members of ICAI, ICWA and ICA are also preferred. For the post of teachers’ candidates  are required to be graduates along with requisite teaching degree and teaching experience. Finally for paramedical staff candidates, in case of medical officers a specific MBBS Degree in particular skill with one year work experience is required. BSc graduates with a spe
cific degree or diploma in pharmacy are eligible for the post of nurse and paramedical staff.

Selection Criteria- Eligible candidates for various posts need to appear for an online written test. This written test consist of three parts

1.Test of general awareness
2.Test of reasoning
3.Test of concern discipline (for example Technical, management, medical sciences)

Eligible candidates will be called for a personal interview. Final selection would be done on the basis of performance in written test followed by interview.
