IIM Admission
Securing admission into an IIM is the dream of almost every management aspirant in India. Indian Institutes of Management shortlist candidates on the basis of performance in the CAT exam. Most of the B-Schools in India publish their cutoff as soon as the evaluation of the examination is in its final stages. Prominent institutions publish their list of cut-offs on their official website.
IIM Ahmedabad PGP Admission:-
Eligibility:-
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) category[1], this is relaxed to 45%)
Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply. Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar/Director of the university/ institution certifying that the candidate is currently in the final year / is awaiting final results and has obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/DA category) based on latest available grades/marks.
Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a certificate latest by June 30, 2013 from the Principal/Registrar of their college/institute (issued on or before June 30, 2013) stating that they have completed all the requirements (the results may, however, be awaited) for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the certificate.
Candidates are short-listed for personal interviews from among those who have a valid CAT/GMAT score* who have applied for the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. An overseas category candidate who applies with a GMAT score instead of a CAT score should have a total scaled score of at least 700.
IIM Calcutta PGDM Admission:-
Eligibility:-
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) category[1], this is relaxed to 45%)
Candidates based on their performance in CAT2012 scores, Class X and XII marks and gender diversity criteria will be called for the selection process that involves Personal Interview (PI), Written Ability Test (WAT) etc.
IIM Indore PGP Admission
Eligibility:- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently- abled (DA)
Candidates seeking admission to the two-year PGP of IIM Indore have to appear in the Common Admission Test [CAT]. Candidates are short-listed for Written Ability Test and/or Personal Interview on the basis of their performance in CAT, academic record, and relevant work experience.
IIM Bangalore PGP Admission
Eligibility:- Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent
Domestic candidates are admitted through the regular admission channel that is based on the applications received through the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Final selection is based on performance in CAT, scholastic achievement, work experience, performance in the writing test, interview, and the letters of reference.
