IIT Admission 2017

Welcome to IIT Admission 2017 Section. Here you will find IIT Admission 2017 in B.Tech, M.Tech, PhD Eligibility Criteria and Selection Procedure.

IIT Admission:-

There are sixteen IITs at present, located at Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Mumbai, Patna, Ropar, Roorkee and Varanasi.  

These institutions offer courses leading to Bachelor’s degree in a number of engineering, technological and science specific disciplines.

Admission to all undergraduate programs in these institutions for Indian and Foreign nationals will be made through a Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) .  Two tier admission process has been employed for IIT admission 2013 that involves both JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCED.

Applicants who qualify in Paper - I of JEE (Main) would be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced). Apart from the scores in both the mains and advanced exams Class 12 board scores will also be crucial in determining final results.
