Searching for Indian Airforce online application procedure? Following is important instructions and steps for online application for Indian Airforce Common Admission Test.

01. Notification: Read through the notification given on the website carefully.
02. Documents: Please keep all necessary educational documents at hand for ready reference.
03. Photograph: Please ensure that you have a scanned copy of your  recent color passport sized photograph (File size between 10 KB to 250 KB)
04. Fingerprint or signature: Upload scanned copies of your fingerprint or signature.

For filling the AFCAT online application form logon to www.careerairforce.nic.in and proceed as per the steps given below

STEP 01: Registration and Login
Click on Apply online button
Create user login by filling the required details.
Provide a valid email ID

STEP 02: Complete application
Revisit apply online link and login using your user name and passoword.
Proceed to complete Parts 2 and 3 of the Application Form
In part 4 you will be asked for your preference in terms of IAF branch
Part 5 you will asked for your contact address and passport size photograph/ Signature or Finger print
Successful submission of application would be indicated on status on the left side window through the message 'Application submitted to the Indian Air Force'.

STEP 03: Allotment of AFCAT centers
After sucessful application you will be informed about your AFCAT center by email
On receipt of E Mail, login to your account and take a printout of the Admit Card and Identification Card. Affix a recent colour passport size photograph as submitted in the online format and complete the finger print and signature columns (if not done earlier online). Thereafter, obtain attestation by the College Principal/ a Gazetted Officer in both the cards and bring them to the AFCAT centre on the day of the Examination.

STEP 04: Intimation of AFCAT testing
After completion of the AFCAT, if you are short listed for further tests, you would receive an email apprising you of the same. You would then be required to log in to your account and select the venue and date of AFSB testing.
