Indian Army Recruitment for 10+2- Indian Army Recruitment for 10+2 is conducted for technical entry on permanent commission. In this job profile on completion of training officers are permanently placed in the army in varied vacancies. Indian army also conducts recruitment for clerical staff. The IMA (Indian Military Academy) trains GC that is Gentlemen Cadets for commission into army.
Indian Army Recruitment for Graduates- Indian army recruitment for graduates offers an opportunity to degree holders in various streams to serve in different officer positions and job profiles. IMA conducts pre commission training for officers in this rank.
Indian Army Recruitment for Engineers- Indian Army Recruitment for engineers is conducted for technical graduate courses in streams of mechanical, electrical, production, electronics and various other streams of engineering. This is a direct entry vacancy and candidates are required to attend Service Selection Board’s interview. There is also a university service scheme whereby candidates in their final year of engineering can also apply for jobs in Indian army.

Selection Procedure- Applicants are shortlisted on the basis of application. The selection process for different streams is different.
a)In case of 10+2 through NDA candidates are required to take Union Public Service Commission exam.
b)Graduates are required to appear for Combined Defence Service Examination.
c)Engineering graduates are directed called for Service Selection Commission.
Apart from this candidates would also be required to undergo a psychological and physical test. Final Selection of candidates would be done on the basis of performance both in all test.
