Following is an admission guide for aspirants seeking Ph.D Admission in Management across top colleges and institutes in India.

IGNOU Ph.D in Management Admission

• Minimum Duration: 2 Years
• Maximum Duration: 5 Years
  

Eligibility:-
a) An MPhil Degree and a Post-Graduate Degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55 per cent marks (50 percent marks for SC/ ST/ PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a university or a recognized institution of higher learning.

b)Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55 per cent marks (50 per cent marks for SC/ ST/ PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a university or a recognized institution of higher learning and five years of teaching/ industry/ administration/ professional experience at senior level.


SJMSOM Ph.D in Management Admission

B.E./B.Tech or equivalent with 70% marks/7.5 CPI (65% marks/7.00 CPI for SC/ST) and a valid score in GATE/CAT/JMET/GMAT/UGCCSIR JRF examination.
OR
ME/M.Tech/M.Phil or equivalent degree with 60% marks/6.5 CPI (55% marks/6.0 CPI for SC/ST) at post graduation level.
OR
Master of Management /MBA or equivalent with 60% marks/6.5 CPI (55% marks/6.0 CPI for SC/ST) at post graduation level.
OR
M.Sc./ M.A./ M.Com/ LLM/MCA or equivalent with 60% marks/6.5 CPI (55% marks/6.0 CPI for SC/ST) at post graduation level and a valid score in GATE/ CAT/ JMET/ GMAT/ UGCCSIR JRF examination.

OR
CA/CFA(US) with 60% marks/6.5 CPI (55% marks/6.0 CPI for SC/ST) in the preceding degrees and a valid score in GATE/CAT/JMET/GMAT/UGCCSIR JRF examination.

After applying for the program, shortlisted applicants will be called for a written test followed by an interview. The written test is based on aptitude test.


FMS Delhi Ph.D in Management Admission

Eligibility Criteria:-
Candidates having an MBA/Master's Degree in an allied subject from University of Delhi or equivalent would be required to write the CAT-2013 test for admission to the Ph.D. programme. Apart from that applicants should also a minimum of two years of work experience.
 
Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree of four years or more, viz. B.Tech. or M.B.B.S., who have obtained a minimum of 70% and 60% marks or equivalent grades respectively, and also have obtained any national level fellowships, are also eligible to apply for the Ph.D. Programme.
 
Permanent teachers of any recognized University/College other than the University of Delhi, employees of a Research Institute in India and candidates sponsored by their employers will be considered for admission to the Ph.D. programme only if they obtain study leave for a period of two years to fulfill the residency requirements of the Ph.D. programme of the University of Delhi.

Based on the academic record and the performance of the candidates in the test and the interview, the Departmental Selection Committee will recommend the names of candidates found suitable for admission to the PhD programme. After the approval of the Director, the candidates will be admitted to PhD programme subject to final approval of the University of Madras.

Duration of Program:-
The total duration of the program may, ordinarily, be of 3 years and a maximum of 5 years. Exemption of 1 year from the minimum duration is permissible in respect of candidates who possess M.Phil. Degree.
