Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) is prime public sector undertaking of the government of India. This Navratna Company is entrusted with the major responsibility of facilitating, financing and furthering various electrification projects all over the country. This corporation also works in tandem with various state electricity boards and government departments. Headquartered in the national capital REC controls, plans and provides finances to various state body and electrification projects as per government plans. Job Profiles - REC conducts recruitments for various technical and non technical posts in the organisation. In terms of technical posts REC conducts recruitments for the post of General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Chief Engineering Manager and Assistant Engineering managers in various technical streams. The non technical job profiles in the organisation include that of General Manager (HR), Manager (accounting), Manager (law), and Manager (accounts). Deputy Managers are also recruited to assist managers of the above mentioned profiles. Apart from that specialist candidates like Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries are also selected for various posts in organisation.
