SBI Recruitment SBI Exam
Every year the State Bank of India (SBI) accepts online applications from eligible and interested applicants for recruitment to the posts of Assistant in clerical cadre of SBI. Applicants can apply for vacancies in one state only and will have to appear for the test from an examination centre for that particular state. Aspirants can appear only once for this exam under the present recruitment project. This exam is important for aspirants who wish to apply for a career with SBI as an assistant.
SBI Assistant Job Description:
An assistant is tasked with general banking and administrative functions and various other functions from time to time. An assistant in SBI undergoes rigorious training and is also exposed to various banking functions such as accounting, marketing, investment, billing, finance, human resources, forex, agriculture banking and general banking.
SBI Assistants Exam 2015 Eligibility:
Age: Individuals aged between 20 and 28 years are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification: Degree (Graduation) in any stream from a recognized university.
Age Relaxation:-
SC/ST: 5 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
PWD (Gen): 10 years
PWD (SC /ST): 15 years
PWD (OBC): 13 years
How to apply for SBI Assistants Exam?
01.Apply online on www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. for SBI Assistants Exam 2015.
02.You should have valid email ID which should be kept active till the declaration of results). This will help you in getting your call letter/interview advices etc by e-mail).
03.Before applying online a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature.
Photograph Image:-
Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture.
Dimensions 200x 230 pixels (preferred).
Size of file should be between 20kb–50kb
The picture should be in colour, against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.
Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face
Signature Image:-
You have to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
Dimensions 140x 60 pixels (preferred). Size of file should be between 10kb–20kb.
Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB.
The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
If the Applicant’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the
Attendance Sheet, the applicant will be disqualified.
After registration of online application you are required to pay application fee.
SBI Assistant Exam 2015 application fee:
•SC/ST/PWD/XS Rs. 100/- (Intimation Charges only)
•General and OBC Rs. 450/- ( Application fee including intimation charges)
SBI Assistant Exam 2015 application fee can be paid through either online(using Debit/Credit card /Internet banking) or off line mode.
SBI Assistant Exam 2015 Admit card/Call Letter:
You are required to download your own SBI Assistant 2015 exam admit card/call letter and an ‘acquaint yourself booklet’ by entering your registration, number and password and date of birth. No hard copy of the call letter/acquaint yourself booklet will be sent by post.
Proof of identity to submitted at the exam:-
The following proof of identity is to be submitted at the exam along with call letter:
one photo identity proof such as passport /PAN Card/Driving Licence/Voter';s Card/Unique Identification Card (AADHAR)/
Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/Identity Card issued by School or College/ Gazetted Officer in the official letter head in original as well as a self attested photocopy of the same.
SBI Assistant 2016 Exam pre-training centers:-
SBI may arrange for pre-examination training at certain centres for SC/ST/XS/Religious Minority Community candidates in accordance with the guidelines issued by Government of India.

SBI Assistant exam 2016 paper pattern:-
SBI Assistant exam 2016 exam will be conducted online and will consist of the following sections.
(i) General Awareness
(ii) General English
(iii) Quantitative Aptitude
(iv) Reasoning Ability
(v) Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge.
The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. Each test will be of 40 marks.F or these objective type tests of total 200 marks, candidates will be given a composite time of 2 Hours 15 minutes There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4 th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.
The passing marks in each of the tests will be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level. Candidates are also required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon) for being considered for interview. Minimum percentage marks on aggregate will be decided by the bank.
