UPSC is the sole authority responsible for the conduct of various civil services, engineering, medical, defense services examinations in the country. UPSC Admit Cards are released by Union Public Service Commission on the completion of admission procedure. Candidates who have successfully completed application can download their hall tickets from http://www.upsc.gov.in/ or http://upscadmitcard.nic.in. An Admit card is also referred to as an e- Admission certificate in some cases. These certificates can be downloaded from official website. In case of any errors or mistakes in admit card your are bound to inform the commission immediately for rectification.
In some cases the commission also issues letters of rejection through email or speed post to candidates whose applications have been rejected.
How to download USPC Admit Card?
You can download UPSC Admit Card from both http://www.upsc.gov.in/ or http://upscadmitcard.nic.in.
a)In this first case you are required to click the Examination Link . On doing the same you are required to click the e-Admit Card link
b)In the second case on keying the link you are directed to the admit card page with links for various admit cards
Steps for downloading e- Admit Card
•First you are required to select the download method (either by registration number, roll number, name)
•Then you are required to type your name, father’s name and select date of birth.
•You are also required to enter characters as shown in Image below.
•Field that are star marked * need to be compulsorily filled.
•After the same you are required to click the submit button.
Important Tip- Kindly key in information carefully and without making mistakes.
Checking UPSC e-admit card is important and here are some guideline for checking admit card
•Check important detail like name, father name and other mandatory details.
•Check RID and see whether it matches the one obtained at the time of registration.
•Check date and venue of examination.
•Check for photograph whether it is clear.
•Check signature and see whether it is legible.
Tip- A common problem faced by candidates downloading UPSC e- admit card is server slowdown. In this case it is advisable that you download your admit card at some other time.
