  • Hi friends, I thought of sharing my small story with you.i came from small town Dehradoon ,where I grew watching bolloywood films. I also wanted to study direction but got rejected two times from FTII interview . Then someone wisely advice" that film school is just begin to gain confidence that you can Make film. One has to prove oneself in the industry.   • sir, i am pratikshya and i have completed my mtech in power ystem engineering. but from the beginning till now , all genres of movies have influenced me a lot especially drama, depression and cult kinda movies with some weird imagination. i love to watch movies which isnt a mere entertainment for me, rather i am much more interested to dig the stuff hidden. i have written some short stories also, because i love to write. so basically script writing will be good for me. please let me inform if there are any good institutes satisfying my interest and where i can scale up my ability.   • CRAFT (Center for Research in the Art of Film and Television) is a total scam! It is located in a car market in naharpur Rohini Sec-7. The institute has pathetic equipment. I was in the journalism batch and can you imagine we were given a handycam to make our final projects. Whereas in all the good institute you at least get an HD professional camera to make your final project. Trust me if you make your final project on a handycam, no one will watch it. Also, the director of the institute does not have basic etiquettes. He uses words like ch**tiya, Ha***zada etc in front of the girls. Also, he is a total THARKI. When I used to talk to him, he always stared at my boobs. Only I know how I was able to complete my course at this shitty institute. My money was wasted. He does not have any good contacts with newspapers/news channels, so you are left on your own after the course. No assistance will be given from CRAFT for placement. If you want to talk to other ex students of CRAFT you can mail me at [email protected] and then decide for yourself whether you want to join it or not.   • Hi guys I want to warn you about this institute called CRAFT (Center for Research in the Art of Film and Television). It is a total scam. First of all it is located in a village called Naharpur in Rohini Sector 7. Second they don't have basic facility for students like soap in washroom and drinking water. Never drink water from CRAFT cause you will suffer from diarrhea. Also the director Naresh Sharma is always busy discouraging students and using abusive language even in front of the girls. He is the biggest loser and frustrated man I have ever seen in my life. Bollywood films are shot on Arriflex camera. But in my almost 20 months I never saw an Arriflex at CRAFT. Also, the batch in which I was studying the course got delayed because stupid Naresh Sharma could not provide a camera to his students to shoot their projects. Their editing faculty named Mr. Juneesh Kuchiaran does not know Avid software and he is teaching students. You can just imagine the pathetic state of this institute. CRAFT's placement record is very bad. Students are jobless. I am also jobless. When I spoke to Naresh Sharma about placement he avoided eye contact with me. He told me to first go to Mumbai and then call him. When I reached Mumbai and called him, he did not answer my calls. I have wasted my Rs. 75000 on direction course. Also one year course was delayed to 20 months. Please warn others also not to join this pathetic institute. Sharma is just making money. He is not making media professionals. I want to warn you guys as a well wisher. I was in the batch of film direction 2009-2010 at CRAFT.   • I was in the Sound Recording and Audio Engineering batch of 2009-2010 at CRAFT Rohini Delhi. I want to share my bad experience with you. First of all the equipment at CRAFT sucks. Most of the time it is out of order and if you complain to the director Mr. Naresh Sharma, he starts barking like a dog at you and avoids the real issue. He does not have good contacts in the film industry. In fact he has no contacts with the good film production houses in Mumbai. The batch before me, i.e., 2008-2009 sued him for not completing the syllabus. He was taken to consumer court for not covering relevant topics in the class. I have myself seen cops coming to CRAFT. He uses abusive language all the time. He never encourages his students. The direction batch of 2010-2011 shot their projects with a mic that did not even have a windshield. The sound quality in their projects was totally ****** up. They could not show their projects to anyone because of this reason. The direction batch complained that in his so called library (which is by the way just two shelves of books) did not have a single film direction book. Also the editing faculty Mr. Juneesh Kuriachan does not know Avid software and he is teaching this software. The cinematography students from all the 3 batches have never seen an Arriflex camera at CRAFT. All feature length films are shot on Arriflex. CRAFT is a waste of time and money.
