About Assam Agricultural University
The Assam Agricultural University was established in 1969. This is the first institution of its kind in the whole of North-Eastern Region of India located at Jorhat, Assam. The University is affliated to ICAR.
Assam Agricultural University - AAU has a number of campuses with its head quarter located at Borbheta at a distance of about 5 km from both bus station and railway station and 2 km from airport of the Jorhat.
The University offers B. Sc. (Agri), B.V. Sc.& A.H., B.F. Sc, B.Sc. (H.Sc.), M.Sc. (Agri), M.Sc (Seri), M.V.Sc, M.Sc (H.Sc) Ph.D in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Home Science courses.
