About Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University
Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University also known as Kanpur University was established in 1966.
Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University has 170 affiliated colleges in 15 districts. Spreading over a campus of 264 acres, the university is booming with academic activities. The University has well stocked central library, well equipped with computing resources caters to the academic needs, three well-furnished girls’ hostels with a total capacity of 500 inmates, a boys hostel with the capacity of 400 inmates.
This university offers undergraduate and post-graduate programmes in all disciplines of Art, Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering and Medicine are offered in affiliated colleges and institutions, the residential wing of the campus includes faculties of Life Sciences, Business Management, Education and English.
