About Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya
Devi Ahilya University or Indore University was established in the year 1964 in Indore.This University is supported by both the State Government and the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.The University is Accredited by NAAC with Grade 'B'.
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has its administrative offices and primary school campus on Rabindranath Tagore Marg in Indore. The Takshashila Campus on Khandwa Road is an extension campus directly administered by the university. The university regulates all the schools within the two campuses.
The University has one hundred and fifty faculty members, seven thousand students on the campus, more than 150 affiliated colleges and more than one lakh twenty five thousand students enrolled in all.
