Kalasalingam University  formerly Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering (AKCE) was established in 1984. Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India granted  university status to the colleges under UGC act 1956 to AKCE in 2006.

Kalasalingam University is located 60 Kms south of Madurai and 10 Kms north of Srivilliputtur on Madurai–Senkottai Highway.

This University offers 9 UG and 17 PG courses in Engineering in addition to MBA, MCA & MSc courses.

The University has fully air-conditioned Central Library with 65894 volumes in engineering, technology, science and management, Well-equipped separete hostel for boys & girls.

Ans : Lovely Professional University (LPU) has a specific policy regarding failed courses, and course retake and backlog registration requirements may vary by programme and course. Generally, if a student receives an F in a course at LPU, they must repeat the course to earn the required credits and pass the course. The student is obliged to enroll in the repetition in the following semester and to attend all lessons and to pass the course. In some cases, a student may be allowed to attend a missed class instead of repeating the same class. A delayed course is an additional course that a student must take in order to meet programme requirements. However, the decision to enroll instead of repeating the course requires the approval of the responsible department at the university. It is important that students carefully read the policies of their specific programme and course to understand the requirements for retaking a course or registering for a retake.
