Sri Ramachandra University was established in 1985 as Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (SRMC & RI). In the year 1994 ihe Institutes awarded deemed-to-be- university status under UGC act of 1956 & accredited by NAAC with "A" grade. It offers various bachelor, master & doctorate degree courses in Medical & Dentistry.
Sri Ramachandra University consists of Sri Ramachandra Medical College & RI and 7 other Faculty with over 60 Departments offers about 100 Courses. More than 4,300 students call this campus their home. The institute is committed to advancement of medical education, healthcare and research and is set to achieve a greater level of excellence in all these fields.
